Dan M. Worth, AIA, FAPT specializes in project management, historic preservation, facilities condition analysis, and building rehabilitation. He has extensive experience with Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Historical Properties, Section 106 Review process, and sustainable design technology and design process. He was inducted to the College of Fellows with the Association for Preservation Technology (APT) because of his commitment to disseminating preservation technology best practices and for his work as a preservation practitioner on many important structures across the US. For much of his career, Mr. Worth’s specialties have focused on historic preservation and rehabilitation through master planning, numerous certified rehabilitation/restoration projects, and in research and writing. His experience includes over 150 projects for the Midwest Region of the National Park Service, the State of Nebraska, and the Smithsonian Institution. Recently he has worked on the 14-year phased exterior restoration of the Nebraska State Capitol, the restoration of the Edward Durell Stone’s Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer, and has led restoration planning at the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.
