Mike Shields had over 40 years of construction and historic restoration experience. His education and training are in energy efficient design and architecture; his construction experience is in both residential and commercial new construction and renovation. His work with window restoration dates back to 1973. BlackBerry Systems was founded by Mike in 1980 and has performed over one hundred major commercial historic window and door projects including university, corporate, multi-use, municipal, hotel and commercial residential projects.
