Preston J. Gumberich has been with Robert A.M. Stern Architects since 1987 and has been a Partner in the firm since 2008. In addition to the University of Connecticut's Downtown Hartford campus, Mr. Gumberich's projects include the Virginia General Assembly Office Building in Richmond; Hoover Dining Hall at DePauw University; residence halls and a career services building at Colgate University; and the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and the North Quad Residential and Academic Complex at the University of Michigan. Mr. Gumberich received both his B.A. and his M. Arch. degrees from Columbia University. He is a co-author of Designs for Learning: College and University Buildings by Robert A.M. Stern Architects (2016). The firm is a multi-year Palladio Award winner.
