Rob joined the St. Louis innovative window manufacturer Profile Systems, Inc. in 1976, first working in the fabrication shop where he profile patented and designed the first zero sightline construction aluminum windows. Rob then moved into estimating, engineering and die design. From mid-1977 through 1983, he was an architectural sales representative with The Maune Company, the parent company of Profile Systems. He handled such lines as Profile, Wausau Metals, Kane Manufacturing, Alcoa Alply and Alucobond. In 1984, Rob formed his own sales company and for 18 years RKHCO represented Wausau Metals, later re-named Wausau Window & Wall Systems, in Missouri & Southern Illinois. In 2002 he remarried and moved to Wilmington, Delaware and since then has represented and distributed for the UK-based Crittall Windows, Ltd and was recently appointed as their Architectural Consultant for the entire United States.
