Ray Tschoepe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an M.S. in Historic preservation in 1993. He then worked as a restoration contractor and consultant, primarily in the Philadelphia region. In 2000 he accepted a position as a conservator with the Fairmount Park Historic Preservation Trust and in 2001 he was named to his current position as Director of Conservation for the Trust, now the Conservancy. In addition he has been an adjunct professor of building conservation in the Bucks Co. Comm. College Preservation Program. He has designed and completed various restoration projects throughout Fairmount Park and in a variety of Philadelphia landmarks.
