Mr. Knight has experience in various areas of historic preservation including on-site investigations, primary and secondary source research, completing historic resource inventory forms and writing historic structures reports. He is also an effective project manager and construction administrator. He completed the Section 106 process for an 800+ acre federal property in Maryland, a Building Conditions Report on the IRS building located in Federal Triangle in DC, and Section 106 consulting for Perimeter Security Upgrades at the Marine Commandant’s House in Washington, DC. He has recently completed the rehabilitation of the Darby Store and Warner House, both in Montgomery County, MD as well as a historic structures report for a pre-Revolutionary period house in Upper Marlboro, MD. Mr. Knight is an active member of Association for Preservation Technology (APT). Early in his career, Mr. Knight worked as a restoration mason, cleaning and conserving historically significant masonry buildings around the country.
