Salem will celebrate its 400th anniversary in 2026 as the United States celebrates 250 years. Salem is an ideal place to celebrate the legacy of American architecture.
We are offering two types of registrations
- Learning Track - For architects and other building professionals looking to learn from best-in-industry experts.
- Networking Track - For manufacturers, suppliers, dealers looking to engage with decision makers and influencers in the high-end custom architectural vertical market.
We reserve the right to decline any registration that we deem has chosen the wrong track.

The Traditional Building Conference Series is a registered provider of AIA continuing education credits. Credits for NARI, AIBD, and some NAHB certifications are available.

What's the refund policy?
All notice of cancellation or downgrades to the registration package must be received in writing 30 days prior to the conference in order to receive 50% refund. Please email cwalsh@aimmedia.com for more information or to request a refund.
Is the venue ADA compliant?
We make every effort to offer venues that are accessible. Please contact us for verification or if you need special accommodations.
Are meals included?
YES breakfast and lunch on both days. Coffee, tea, and soft drinks throughout each afternoon.
How many AIA CEUs can I earn at the Traditional Building Conference?
Generally, up to 11 AIA Continuing Education Credits in a two-day education event, with up to 9 AIA HSW credits.
What is the process for getting my AIA CEUs?
Our Education Director, Judy Hayward will process these with the AIA, for each attendee who wants them. Submit your AIA CEU form to Judy on-site during the conference. Allow three weeks for confirmation of your AIA credits.
Does your online education deliver AIA CEUs?
YES. Each one-hour web seminar earns one AIA Learning Unit. Some web seminars are 90 minutes which deliver 1.5 AIA learning units. There are both live and on-demand web seminars. On-demand courses can be found here.

Is there transportation provided for the architectural tours?
YES. Buses and/or vans will take you off-site to the tours. But some tours are within walking distance of the venue.
How do I sponsor the Traditional Building Conference Series?
Platinum sponsors underwrite the year-long conference series which is three in-person events, each two days, and an online education offering in the fourth quarter of the same year. This sponsorship typically earns sponsors 1,000 sales leads. When does the Palladio Awards ceremony take place?
The Palladio Awards ceremony is held during the Traditional Building Conference summer event, produced by TRADITIONAL BUILDING magazine. The winning projects are published in the July/August issue of TRADITIONAL BUILDING and posted online at www.traditionalbuilding.com as well as www.period-homes.com.
How can I subscribe to TRADITIONAL BUILDING magazine?
All Traditional Building Conference attendees receive a one-year complimentary subscription to TRADITIONAL BUILDING. Otherwise, qualified professionals can apply for subscriptions here.
What is the composition of professionals who attend? Architects? Builders? Building owners? professionals?
Attendee composition is typically 50% architects and designers; 30% builders, contractors and building artisans; 20% building owners, facilities managers and preservation professionals.
